Today at Petsmart in East Greenbush

My name is Casey! I am a healthy girl and i am very independent! I am not afraid of much but will tend to shy away from too much household action! (I like to be in charge of causing the ruskus). I have gotten better at being petted but sometimes i get a little defensive and bat at or grab hold of your hand with my front paws/claws and teeth but I am not trying to hurt you. I love to crawl onto my owners lap during the day and will sometimes sleep on my owners bed at night. I will purr during these times if things are calm and i feel safe. I am getting better at being picked up. I usually welcome affection but when it gets to be too much i might grab hold again and my hind legs start peddling (and batting) away! (Its like i cant help it) When i need to get my energy out you will hear me running and bouncing around the house like I’m chasing a wild animal! I am ready to settle into a forever home. I will thrive with a patient owner who can help me keep learning how to give and receive love and affection.

Meet Gingerbread! This sweet girl was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky in 2019. After finding a home through AnimaLovers, Gingerbread sadly found herself back in the care of Whiskers this year. Now, she’s hoping for a second chance at a forever home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and simply be herself. Gingerbread would love a quiet, peaceful home where she can settle in at her own pace. She can coexist with other animals who respect her space and boundaries. All Gingerbread wants is a place to call her own, a little understanding, and someone who will love her for the sweet girl she is. She is beautiful and deserves nothing but the best for the rest of her life! She would shine with someone who lives alone and with no other animals!

Meet Hobbs! This sweet orange tiger is less than a year old and ready to find his forever home! Hobbs was rescued from the streets after he came running right up to a volunteer. Now this precious boy is ready to leave his past behind and start his happily-ever-after! A little bit about Hobbs within a week of rescuing him: neutered, vaccinated, tested, adorable little bobtail, professional lap cat, cerified purr machine and Still a baby with so much love to give! Hobbs is the kind of kitty who wants to be close to you, soak up all the affection, and fill your home with endless purrs. He’s sweet, he’s snuggly, and he’s ready to be somebody’s whole world. All this little guy needs now is a family to love him forever. He would also love another young kitty to play with and keep him company.
